A Great New Read By Popular Author, Barbara Cameron!!

      "Stormy Weather"
      By Barbara Cameron

Synopsis:

Hannah Fisher is a young Amish wife who loves her husband but wonders if they will ever see eye to eye.
And then one winter day Jacob is critically injured in a buggy accident and suddenly the differences they’ve been having fade in importance.
Can their love survive the biggest challenge they’ve ever faced?

My Thoughts:

"Stormy Weather" by Barbara Cameron , is the first in the series entitled "Sunshine and Shadows". Although it is a short story, I must admit that I did not want this book to end so soon. In my opinion , it could have gone on forever! This book is one that is filled with meaning, that of faith and the importance of forgiveness ,as well as the healing required to make the future a happier place.
The characters were so well described that  I became involved in the story from the first page and felt their every emotion.  To me, a great book is one with which I can easily identify and this one met that requirement! The importance of family and close friends  was evident as the story progressed . Could happiness be achieved without forgiveness of self and others??? The difficulties that health problems can cause are dealt with in such a realistic way, that you feel that you are fighting the battle alongside the characters.
The plot moves at a  steady pace with just enough twists and turns to keep the reader engaged from beginning to end. I did end up with the feeling of wanting more..... but that is because I want to see what Book Two in this series will bring us!!
Barbara Cameron is to be commended. This is a great novel. I know this reader is  eagerly awaiting the next  creation!!

This book was a gift. The opinions and thoughts expressed are honest and my own.
